GW6 STATS SUMMARY

All of the stats I use in this thread are from Fantasy Football Hub.

If you want access to them yourself then sign up by clicking the link below ⬇️

Team xG

5.17 - Arsenal

4.89 - Tottenham

3.24 - Chelsea

2.64 - Liverpool

1.59 - Newcastle

Tottenham attack firmly on the radar with the upcoming fixtures.

Arsenal xG ridiculously high and SOU (H) up next.

Shots conceded

35 - Leicester

24 - Man United

19 - Brentford

17 - Everton

16 - Newcastle

Leicester were pretty lucky to only concede 4 against Arsenal.

Player xG

2.18 - Havertz

1.99 - Palmer

1.41 - Salah

1.30 - Solanke

1.11 - Trossard

Havertz could have hauled if it wasn’t for Hermansen.

Solanke continues to impress at the top of the Spurs attack.

Player xA

0.79 - Saka

0.57 - Van de Ven

0.56 - Robertson

0.55 - Martinelli

0.52 - Cucurella

Saka owners unlucky not to get more.

All of VDV’s xA came from the one chance that he created for Brennan Johnson.

Shots

7 - Saka, Palmer, Havertz

5 - Jackson, Eze, Haaland

4 - Mbeumo, Semenyo, Martinelli, Trossard, Barnes, Solanke, Martinez

Eze owners pretty unlucky once again.

Shots on target

5 - Palmer

3 - Delap, Solanke, Calafiori

Delap an interesting budget option.

EZE REPLACEMENTS

Eze has been very frustrating for owners so far this season.

He’s 3rd for shots this season behind only Haaland and Semenyo but has only managed 1 return.

I currently own Eze and I have no plans to sell.

I still think he’s a great asset but I understand that many are selling him this week so here are my favourite replacements.

Bryan Mbeumo - ÂŁ7.4m

5 goals in 6 games this season for Mbeumo and he has everything that you want from an FPL asset.

Nailed for minutes, is on penalties and has great fixtures so if you don’t already own him then get him.

Brennan Johnson - ÂŁ6.4m

Has seemingly nailed down the right wing spot now and has 2 goals and an assist in his last 2 games.

He does get taken off early which isn’t ideal but Spurs have good fixtures so should still be worth a punt.

Dwight McNeil - ÂŁ5.6m

McNeil has had an incredible start to the season with 3 goals and 2 assists in 6 games.

Everton’s fixtures are brilliant right up to GW15 so you can play him for the next 8 GWs.

Fabio Carvalho - ÂŁ4.8m

If you want a really budget option then Fabio Carvalho could be the answer.

Since Wissa’s injury, he’s been starting on the left wing and Brentford have some nice fixtures in the short term.

WILDCARD

I have seen that a few people are using their wildcard this week after a very difficult GW6.

I personally wouldn’t wildcard this week as I don’t think there is any obvious fixture swings.

I would wait until next week if you can when you can lose Arsenal and Liverpool players and load up on City and Spurs players.

However, if you are using your wildcard this week then these would be my thoughts.

I would be looking to triple up on Man City with Haaland and two of Foden, Gvardiol and Lewis.

I would go with Flekken, Mbeumo and Carvalho as a Brentford triple up for their nice fixtures.

I would have at least 2 Spurs players in Solanke and Porro.

I would maybe go for Son or Brennan as a third.

Or I would go for Saka with a plan to move to Son after GW7.

The rest of the team would be filled with budget defensive options, a budget striker like KDB and other mid priced midfielders like Eze, Bowen and Rogers.

CAPTAINCY

Palmer, Saka and Haaland are the top 3 players in my captaincy model this week.

If you want to see the order and rest of the top 10 players from my model this week then check out my YouTube video.

TEAM SELECTION

This is how my team is set up for this week with one free transfer.

I discuss my future plans and when I’m thinking of using my wildcard in my team selection YouTube video.
