Madueke greedy as per usual.

KDB playing very high and taking plenty of shots.

MID-PRICED FORWARDS

There are plenty of good forward options right now in FPL so choosing between them can be quite tough.

Most teams can only accommodate one mid-priced forward so let’s discuss which one you should go for.

ISAK - £8.4m

Isak has had a really hit and miss season with a lot of FPL managers starting with him and getting frustrated.

Those that held him or have brought him back into their teams have been rewarded with hauls against Arsenal, Forest and Liverpool.

Newcastle’s fixtures are fantastic in the short and long term now, especially the next 3 (Brentford, Leicester & Ipswich).

So he’s definitely worth buying if you’re in the market for a mid-priced forward.

JACKSON - £8.2m

Jackson was the brought in by almost 1m FPL managers in GW14 for his benching against Southampton.

Prior to GW14 he had scored 3 goals in his last 2 games so it’s no surprise he was a popular buy.

Chelsea’s fixtures continue to be friendly for the foreseeable so despite the benching, he’s still a great option.

Just be aware that he is one yellow card away from a one game suspension.

WATKINS - £9.0m

Watkins is also in some nice form with 2 goals and 1 assist in his last 3 Premier League games.

Something that is interesting is that in GW14 he took a penalty for the first time in a while.

He scored the penalty, albeit not in the most confident fashion, and if he is on penalties now that does boost his appeal.

Villa also have some very nice fixtures which starts with SOU (H) in GW15.

This is how I’d rank these 3 forwards:

🥇 Isak

🥈 Jackson

🥉 Watkins

With Havertz and Solanke close behind.

WHAT TO DO WITH HAALAND

Firstly, if you still own Haaland you can consider yourself very unlucky to not have got more points recently.

He’s typically been getting a lot of chances but has been unable to convert them.

Something that I’d be slightly worried about though is his positioning in the recent game against Forest.

As you can see from the average position map, Haaland was playing much deeper than usual with KDB and Doku more advanced.

This resulted in a fair amount of success for City as Doku and KDB both scored and they won the game.

It also resulted in a huge drop off in numbers for Haaland.

Shots - 2

SoT - 1

Shots in box - 1

xG - 0.19

If KDB continues to play and this is how City line up then I’d be worried about Haaland going forward.

If you still own Haaland then I would sell him and move the funds into midfield.

I think that Salah, Saka and Palmer are better assets to own right now.

CAPTAINCY

Captaincy is interesting this week as no team has a stand out fixture.

Saka, Salah, Palmer and Haaland are the top 4 in my captaincy model, as expected.

See who’s top in my YouTube video below.

MY TEAM SELECTION

This is how my team is lined up with 3FTs and £0.8m ITB.

I have some serious benching headaches this week which I discuss in my team selection video below.
