Unsurprisingly the 2 players that scored hat tricks are top.
KEEP OR SELL MBEUMO?
Brentford’s fixtures take a bit of a turn now so Mbeumo can realistically be sold.
However, he’s not must sell as he’s still a nailed player that plays for a good attack and is on penalties.
His numbers haven’t been great over the last few weeks and other players like Wissa and Schade have been taking the bulk of the chances.
But I’m not too worried about him going forward.
He was Brentford’s highest player against Leicester per the average position map.
The immediate fixtures also aren’t too bad. Villa and Newcastle haven’t been the best defensively of late.
Therefore, I think you can wait a week or two to sell him.
If you do want to sell him this week then these are my favourite replacements.
Jarrod Bowen - £7.4m
West Ham haven’t been great this season but their next 5 fixtures are ideal.
Bowen is the main man for West Ham, he’s on penalties and Kudus is back this week (who’s a good option himself at £6.2m) which should boost their attack.
Kaoru Mitoma - £6.5m
Mitoma has scored in both of his last two league games and is great value for £6.2m in a brilliant Brighton attack.
Brighton’s next 5 fixtures are also fantastic so it’s well worth investing in their attackers.
Antoine Semenyo - £5.7m
Semenyo has now served his suspension and is available for GW14.
The Bournemouth attack has been great of late and they play Ipswich and West Ham within their next 3.
BUDGET MIDFIELDERS
As mentioned in the section above, I think Semenyo is the best midfielder at his price point.
Rogers is also great but I prefer Semenyo to him and to Smith Rowe.
There are two other alternatives that I want to mention as great options too.
Justin Kluivert - £5.3m
Learning this weekend that Kluivert is on penalties for Bournemouth is a big deal given his price.
Bournemouth’s fixtures are great and although he’s not as nailed for minutes as Semenyo, he’s still great value.
Amad Diallo - £5.0m
Amad has 3 assists in Amorim’s first 2 Premier League games and appears to be first choice at RWB.
United’s fixtures aren’t great but we know that Amorim likes his wing backs high so Amad could be a nice cheap 8th attacker.
CAPTAINCY
I will be posting my captaincy model video on YouTube this evening (Monday) but the top 3 players in the model are Saka, Palmer and Haaland with Salah in 4th.
MY TEAM SELECTION
This is how my team looks for GW14 without having made any transfers yet.
I have 3FTs and £0.2m ITB.
I will likely use two of my three FTs this week.
Check out my transfer plans video below for my initial transfers thoughts.
I will also post a team selection video tomorrow (Tuesday) morning on YouTube discussing my team and my future plans.
